Rocking women in engineering in Colorado
UK women in engineering programmes are dwarfed by those funded by the National Science Foundation in the USA. Jan Peters was invited to present at the 2017 Change Leaders Forum in Colorado.
WEPAN is the main US network dedicated to advancing cultures of inclusion and diversity in engineering higher education and workplaces.
Jan ran a workshop piloting the conversations around inclusion in engineering with diversity leads and academics from engineering departments at US universities. The WEPAN conference includes a combination of key note lectures and workshops sharing knowledge and experiences of progressing towards inclusion in engineering for women.
