Reframing inclusion in engineering

Reframing diversity in engineering

November 7 2017

We’ve seen huge advances and shifting in thinking around diversity and inclusion in higher education in recent years, catalysed by the Athena Project, launched in 1999. What a difference we can now see. The diverse and rich programme at this year’s Equality Challenge Unit conference is testament to the progress that has been made and maturity of the sector’s approach.

Jan Peters, MD of Katalytik, will be sharing her thinking around diversity and inclusion in engineering and preliminary results of work with UCL Enigneering and their Liberating the Curriculum project that piloted conversations on inclusion in engineering.

As part of the run up to the conference, Jan Peters wrote a feature blog for the ECU. Click here
