Inclusive Engineering Education Symposium 2

Inclusive Engineering Education Symposium 2

9 and 10 July 2018, London

Katalytik is delighted to be collaborating with the UCL Centre for Engineering Education and the Royal Academy of Engineering to bring a different perspective to inclusion and diversity in engineering education.

The highlight of the two day symposium will be the launch of the report Reframing Diversity in Engineering edited by Katalytik Director, Dr Jan Peters MBE.

The symposium will be interactive and feature keynote speakers, panel discussions and working groups that could form communities of practice to create new knowledge, resources and develop thinking around inclusion in engineering and technology.  On Tuesday 10th July parallel sessions will use elements of the Katalytik Good Practice Checklist Tool to develop conversations around aspects of creating an inclusive and diverse teaching, learning and working space in engineering and technology.

Each of the breakout and paralllel sessions will start with examples of what is happening already. We’d love to hear from you too! For more details: Respond to the Call for short talks and to register (the event is free).

We will be announcing workshops for the autumn soon. Stay in touch by joining our GDPR compliant mailing list.
