Training, Workshops & Courses (including bespoke and standard programmes)
1 Definitions
In these Conditions:
- “Katalytik”, “we”, “our”, “us” means Katalytik Ltd (Registered No. 5277291).
- “You” means the individual, organisation, or client booking a Course.
- “Booking” means a confirmed request to purchase a Course.
- “Course” means any training programmes, workshop, seminar, or development session delivered by Katalytik.
- “Delegate” means an individual attending the Course.
- “Digital Delivery” means workshops delivered online via Zoom, Teams or other agreed platforms or a purchased code.
These conditions apply to all Bookings and override any other terms unless expressly agreed in writing.
2 General Conditions
- Nothing in these terms creates a partnership or agency.
- These terms are governed by English law.
- English courts have exclusive jurisdiction.
3 Booking and confirmation
Bookings may be made via email, online form, or purchase order. A Booking is accepted and a contract is formed when Katalytik issues written confirmation of acceptance. A Booking is not confirmed until payment in full (or an agreed deposit) has been received. We may refuse a Booking at our discretion. Any fees paid will be refunded. We operate a no purchase order, no delivery policy.
4 Fees, payment and credit terms
All fees are quoted in GBP and may be subject to VAT. Payment is due within 30 days of invoice unless otherwise agreed. Late payments may result in suspension of services, withholding of materials or certificates, interest in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998, and recovery of reasonable debt collection costs.
5 Digital delivery (online courses)
Delegates are responsible for having a stable internet connection and suitable technology and connectivity. If a Delegate cannot attend due to local technical issues, this is treated as non-attendance. If Katalytik experiences a platform failure, an alternative date/session will be arranged.
Recording of sessions is prohibited unless expressly agreed in writing. The use of AI assistants, meeting bots, automated note taking applications, transcription tools, screenshots or screen-capture technology is prohibited unless expressly authorised by Katalytik. Delegates must maintain confidentiality of joining links. Screenshots, chat logs, and digital materials. may not be reproduced, shared, or distributed externally without written permission.
6 Changes, transfers, and cancellations (by the Client)
Delegate substitution is permitted at no additional charge up to the start of the Course.
Transfer to a new date for the same Course is permitted once only, with due notice at least 72 hours in advance to permit preparation to the same standard.
Cancellation charges:
- Over 28 days before course: full refund
- 14–28 days before: 50% refund
- 0–14 days before: no refund
Transfers cannot be subsequently cancelled.
7 Coaching amendments and rescheduling
We understand that people get sick. And often, not with 48 hours notice. We are human and understand that life can get in the way.
Clients are provided with a booking link to reserve coaching slots. The booking terms are included with the link, for clarity:
- Sessions can be rescheduled 24 hours in advance.
- Coachees who are 15min late or more to the scheduled session may be asked to reschedule, and a rescheduling fee of £100 may be charged back to your function.
- Arrivals more than 15 minutes late will be treated as a no-show
8 Cancellations or changes (Katalytik)
Where reasonably practicable, Katalytik will provide as much notice as possible of any cancellation, postponement or trainer substitution.
We reserve the right to:
- cancel or postpone a Course
- alter course content, dates, venues, or provide substitute trainers – these will be appropriately certified and experienced
If we cancel, you will receive:
- a full refund OR
- the option to transfer to another date
We are not liable for any travel, accommodation, or consequential costs incurred.
For bespoke in-company programmes, cancellation charges may differ and will be specified in the proposal, quotation or statement of work.
9 Client responsibilities when hosting a workshop
The client will ensure compliance with applicable health and safety legislation and provide any relevant site-specific safety information before delivery.
We will submit a venue requirement for space and materials 10 days in advance at the latest. Where a client provides the venue:
- The venue must be safe, accessible and suitable for learning.
- Equipment must meet the agreed technical specification (AV, sound, projector, WiFi).
- Room layout must support group interaction.
- You are responsible for ensuring on-site health and safety compliance.
If venue issues prevent delivery, the session may be deemed delivered and chargeable.
10 Inclusion, conduct and psychological safety
Katalytik is committed to creating learning environments that are inclusive, respectful and accessible to all participants. We value diversity in all its forms and aim to ensure that every individual has equitable opportunities to participate, contribute and benefit from our services. We undertake regular training including obtaining a certificate from Animas on Neuroinclusion and Coaching.
We expect all delegates, clients, facilitators and partners to contribute to an environment that is free from harassment, bullying, discrimination, and victimisation.
Differences of perspective, experience and background are welcomed and should be discussed respectfully and constructively.
Harassment, bullying, discrimination, intimidation or behaviour that compromises psychological safety may result in removal from a course or programme without refund.
11 Accessibility and adjustments
Katalytik is committed to an accessible and inclusive learning environment. We will consider reasonable adjustments in accordance with the Equality Act 2010 where practicable and appropriate. Clients should submit requests for large format or digital materials 7 days in advance of workshops.
12 Intellectual Property & use of materials
- All materials remain the intellectual property of Katalytik.
- Where we have a certificate or license for materials used in place we will advise you of this. Many workshops use materials licensed to Katalytik by Gallup. Gallup do not provide permission for third party amendment or reuse of their materials.
- No materials may be reproduced, modified, shared, or stored without written permission.
- Bespoke programmes for internal use may be granted if agreed.
- Katalytik background Intellectual property statemen tis available.
13 Photography, filming and testimonials
Permission will be requested before taking photographs or gathering anonymised data. Consent for future use of images or testimonials may be withdrawn at any time.
14 Confidentiality
Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality except where disclosure is required by law, regulatory authorities, court order or safeguarding obligations.
15 Data protection and GDPR compliance
Katalytik acts as a Data Controller. Personal data may be processed for administration, delivery, evaluation and improvement of services. Individuals have rights under UK GDPR including access, rectification, erasure and complaint to the ICO. Further information is contained in the Katalytik Privacy Notice on the website.
16 Responsible and ethical use of AI
Katalytik may use AI technologies to support administration, content development and operational efficiency. Appropriate human oversight will be maintained. We seek to protect confidentiality, reduce bias and review AI-generated content before use where appropriate.
17 Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where prohibited by law. Nothing limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Liability for all other claims is limited to the fees paid for the relevant service.
18 Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints should be submitted in writing to Katalytik. Both parties will seek to resolve concerns informally before commencing legal proceedings.
19 Force Majeure
Katalytik is not liable for failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control.
