Making projects and partnerships work Made with Xara Science Sisters  A pilot programme to test the interest and aptitude of parents within a school pyramid to become more involved in introducing STEM education and engagement activities into their children’s schools. The project assisted 10 women to gain confidence and in some cases get back into work as well as raising awareness of national initiatives and funding sources in the pyramid. The project continues and is working to raise further funding to extend its reach and share the experiences into other school pyramids. In Summer 2010 a grant of £2,000 was received from the Verena Holmes Trust to further the project. More details, click here.
